Public less likely to trust the Government and will be more sceptical of any future road safety initiatives.

Public will quite rightly believe that the real reason is only to raise even more revenue for the Government.  We need to breed a culture of mutual respect and understanding.

In 2004 showed that in Victoria, where camera and traditional speed enforcement were heaviest, accidents increased. In the Northern Territory, where there is no speed limit, accidents dropped 34% in the same year.  Click here
