Throwing down the gauntlet to Supt Rennie and Chief Minister Henderson

Gentlemen

You are idiots. The idiotic measures of the NT Labor government of introducing new rules to reduce the road toll are an abject and utter failure and will continue to be a failure well into the future unless you tackle the real causes.

IF you are really serious about reducing the road toll in the long run it will require considerable investment. Of course I have no idea how much this would cost but what I do know is this. It would require the government to spend more money on education and so forth than it would reap in road revenue. Therefore, IT WOULD ACTUALLY COST THE GOVERNMENT MONEY TO REDUCE THE ROAD TOLL.

However, since we all know that just like your southern counterparts you are not really in the business of reducing the road toll, but rather, in the business of appearing to be doing something to reduce the road toll while simultaneously increasing revenue from road based fines, then the road toll will continue to flatline.

I will take any of you on anytime, anywhere, you just name a time and a place and I will tear shreds off you.

I have done the research for KeepNTLimitFree and I can tell you exactly what is happening on NT roads that results in the NT having the highest per capita death rates on the road than any other state or territory in Australia.

So gentlemen, do you want the truth or as Jack Nicholson says in the movie A Few Good Men, "You can't handle the truth".

I suspect strongly you clowns cannot handle the truth so I don't expect a reply. But, I am ready anytime, anywhere!!

My invitation also extends of course to the Minister for Infrastructure & Transport, Delia Lawrie.

Re: Throwing down the gauntlet to Supt Rennie and Chief Minister Henderson

When we had a meeting with Delia Lawrie and informed her, that placing a speed limit on the open road would do nothing for the road toll she said that their professor would give us a call.  Literally she could not answer our questions.  As we have stated all a long any law should be based upon evidence.

One year and a half later we are still waiting for their so called professor expert to answer our questions or even call us for that matter!

The fact is the only way is to win is to vote these clowns out at the next election otherwise even more of our freedoms will be taken away, just look at their past record it is a disgrace.

Talkback radio in Darwin at anytime?
Purchase a hazard-warning triangle for use at crash scenes and breakdowns, mandatory in Europe, the triangle is used to improve on the warning time given to approaching traffic. I suggest Hella Part Number 2901.

Re: Throwing down the gauntlet to Supt Rennie and Chief Minister Henderson

Yeah sure, if these stupid arseholes are silly enough to take us on, no problem. Radio, TV, anything, we will make them and their ridiculous policies look stupid.

We know the truth and the NT road toll has nothing to do with the previously unrestricted highways.

Cheers

Gecks!
